Ana Sandoval was elected to the San Antonio City Council in 2017 and reelected in 2019 with 60% of the vote. She represents District 7 and over 150,000 in the northwest side of San Antonio. In her time on Council she has aggressively pursued funding for basic infrastructure in District 7 and championed public health, open and transparent government, climate resiliency, and transportation options. Ana chairs the Council Community Health and Equity Committee; she serves on the Governance, Intergovernmental Relations, Transportation and Public Safety Council Committees, and represents the City on the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization.
