The Ammunition Hill national memorial site tells the tale of the series of battles in Jerusalem during the Six Day War, and perpetuates the 182 soldiers who fell in the battles.

The best forces participated In the battles. The reserve Brigade of the paratroopers, the Jerusalem Brigade, the Harel Brigade and the Air Force.

In less than three days the IDF forces overcame the legion and took control of the eastern city. On the 7 th of June 1967, the old city was liberated, in it the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.

Promptly after the war the municipal borderline walls were destroyed and the city, which had been divided for nineteen years, was reunited.

in order to expend ammunition hill activity we are looking for volunteers in 2 main inportant fields of activity: 1. guiding in different ​​Languages fo all kind of visitors 2. Librarians who can operate our library (wich is very nice library, but needs someone nice to take care of )
