Settlement Health is a community health center based in East Harlem. We have provided this community with primary health care services since 1977. Our mission is to deliver high quality, comprehensive, accessible and culturally sensitive preventive and primary care services, and to coordinate the other levels of health care that are necessary. Additionally, we offer the community other support programs such as Social Services; HIV/AIDS counseling and testing, and education; health education and perinatal services. We presently employ about 70 people and provide care to over 8,000.
