Sobre Nós

Founded in 1939 by the Sisters of Saint Dominic, Caldwell University promotes intellectual, spiritual, and aesthetic growth to a diverse population and welcomes all cultures and faith traditions. Inspired by St. Dominic de Guzman and our Catholic heritage, we make a difference in the lives of our students and prepare them through the liberal arts and professional studies to think critically, pursue truth, and contribute to a just society.

Caldwell University sits on 70 quiet acres in suburban New Jersey, 20 miles west of New York City. The University enrolls approximately 2,300 full-time, part-time, and graduate students. Fully qualified faculty members, small class sizes, and a 13:1 student/faculty ratio provide close, personal attention. Caldwell's most popular offerings include undergraduate degrees in Business, Psychology, and Education. Caldwell has 29 undergraduate degrees and 30 graduate programs, including a doctoral program in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the first in New Jersey. Other graduate programs include Art Therapy, Business, Counseling, Education, and Psychology.

Caldwell is a leader in autism education, a scientific discipline known to help children with autism spectrum disorders. A state-of-the-art on-campus Center for Autism & Applied Behavior Analysis opened in 2011. The Center benefits children with autism and their families in New Jersey.
