TAABIR

TAABIR is a vocational school in development based in Dallas, Texas, rooted in the principles of the solidarity economy, justice, and collective liberation.

We aim to provide accessible, values-driven training in green, climate-conscious woodworking, fabrication, and ownership skills to underserved communities — including immigrants, returning citizens, and low-income workers. Our long-term vision is to support graduates in forming worker cooperatives and building wealth and power in their own communities. TAABIR is currently in its founding phase, and we are building a team of organizers, educators, and builders to bring the school to life in 2025.
