These are the three charities we hope to fundraise for:
RACIES
Earth Justice
National Low Income Housing Coalition
Events and Services (just ideas for the time being):
- Hygiene kits for the homeless (Deodorant, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, etc.)
- Meal distribution for the homeless (packaged foods)
- Clothing drive for low-income individuals
- Host raffles
- Warm clothing donations
- Beach clean-ups
- Recycling drives (collecting recyclable waste to divert them from landfills)
- Eco-workshops (teaching about sustainability to at-risk teenagers)
- Storytelling campaign (showcasing immigration success stories through art or digital media)
