    Note - this position is for a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Family Education Program Lead at Washington State Community Connectors ; CL Strategic, a consulting firm, is facilitating the hiring process.

    Reports to: Executive Director (Day to Day Operations and Job Function) Administrative Director (Reporting/Deliverables)

    Position Summary

    The SUD Family Education Lead provides training and education to the community regarding how to support a loved one experiencing a substance use disorder. This role also supports the consistency and quality of SUD Family Education services by offering guidance to trainers, assisting with training development, and coordinating training-related information and reporting.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Provide training and education to individuals, families, and community members on substance use disorder and family support strategies.
    • Assist in onboarding and training of SUD Family Education Trainer candidates as needed.
    • Offer guidance, support, and training resources to SUD Family Education Trainers to promote consistency and quality of service delivery.
    • Provide feedback on training delivery and identify opportunities for improvement in content or approach.
    • Track completion of required notes and contract-related deliverables and communicate status updates or gaps to the Administrative Director.
    • Compile and organize training data and information for reporting purposes.
    • Support the Administrative Director in preparing reports by gathering and summarizing relevant training data.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Assist in the development and refinement of training courses and materials for workshops, groups, and one-on-one sessions.
    • Assess participant learning and engagement during trainings and adjust delivery methods as appropriate.
    • Maintain accurate records of completed trainings and participant information.
    • Execute other SUD Family Education duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times, stressful environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
    • Ability to lead and inspire others.
    • Willingness to give and receive feedback related to performance, process, and productivity.
    • Nimbleness to adapt and pivot as needed within the ever-changing landscape of the role.

    Education Requirements

    • High School Diploma, or GED.

    Benefícios

    • Paid time off (PTO) accrued per 40-hour pay period at 3.328 hours or the equivalent of 80 hours per year for full time employees, accrued up to a maximum of 100 hours per year.
    • In addition to PTO, full-time employees are eligible for six (6) paid holidays and five (5) days bereavement leave per year. Washington State Paid Medical and Family Leave and partial wage replacement is available for eligible employees.
    • Flexible, 90%+ remote position; work laptop provided.
    • Each employee is allotted $1000 per year for professional development as well as WSCC covering the cost of attending the National Federation of Families, Annual Peer Pathways, and any WSCC event for professional development.
