Cheshire Law Group is expanding its administrative team to add a part-time Billing Assistant.
Overview
Cheshire Law Group is a woman-owned law firm that exclusively represents nonprofit organizations as general counsel. The firm’s team works closely with a wide range of nonprofit clients, providing trusted advice and expert legal support.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Assistant to support our attorneys and administrative team with client invoicing, billing processes, and related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, takes pride in accuracy and efficiency, and values being part of a collaborative, mission-driven firm that supports the nonprofit community.
This position involves preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking billable time, coordinating with attorneys to ensure accurate billing, and maintaining client records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, and comfort working with billing or accounting software.
This part-time role offers flexibility and may be remote, hybrid, or in-person. There is also the potential for this position to expand to full-time status in the future based on client needs, demonstrated abilities, and work performance.
