    Program Associate - Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator

    We offer strategic and operational support to a broad array of stakeholders, including governments, advocacy groups, foundations, health plans, and providers. Our unique and deep bench of experience and expertise is in federal and state health policy, health system transformation, addressing whole-person health, outreach and enrollment, program design, and operations.

    The full-time Program Associate is a 40-hour per week remote position based in the Central Valley - Fresno, Madera, Hanford or surrounding cities. This role is grounded in California and requires experience with public speaking, creating work plans and project workflows, and using technology (e.g., project management software, Adobe, Excel, etc.). To be successful, you must be detail-oriented, eager to learn, an active listener, driven, and able to remain flexible across multiple projects in a dynamic health policy and program team environment of both remote and locally based experts. Candidates must be based in or near Kings, Fresno, and Madera Counties.

    Job Duties:

    • Provide overall project support across the team and drive projects to completion.
    • Manage projects by working independently to plan and execute a work plate that includes tracking progress and deadlines, crafting communications with clients and stakeholders, and raising issues to management in a timely and strategic manner.
    • Problem solve through externally facing work with stakeholders, applying professional judgment and coordinating across teams.
    • Attend in-person meetings with stakeholders across Kings, Fresno, and Madera Counties.
    • Support editing and developing training content in PowerPoint, Canva, and other visual tools. This includes supporting our team in brainstorming approaches, editing content, and developing training materials on adult learning platforms as needed.
    • Collaborate with leadership and policy staff to ensure rigor and consistency of our materials and voice across written documents.
    • Write program reports in easy-to-understand language.
    • Ensure deliverables and program activities are on track using project management workflows, including developing comprehensive summaries and work plans using project management tools, Word, and Excel.
    • Track time, plan work, and provide updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders in accordance with the firm’s workflows.
    • Support administrative functions such as note-taking, scheduling, and coordinating internal/external schedules, and developing and planning meeting agendas.
    • Provide infrastructural support and capacity building to the leadership of the firm including work planning; implementation planning; identification of training needs; and developing forms, processes, Excel tracking documents, workflows, and other processes to support operations.
    • Identify and elevate best practices, trends, and program issues to senior management in an organized way.
    • Regular travel across Kings, Fresno, and Madera is required, with up to 15% in-state annually to other regions including our headquarters in Sacramento, CA.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication skills: the ability to speak and write clearly in communications to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated track record of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Understanding of health programs and policies.
    • Possess a drive, eagerness, and positive energy to effect community-driven change.
    • Maintains a reliable home office setup for virtual work and has consistent, reliable transportation.
    • Fluent in spanish a plus.
