Founded by Mara Manus, Syzygy Arts is a consulting group that works with nonprofit organizations to strengthen, grow and achieve alignment to make the greatest impact on the communities they serve. Our focus is on strengthening organizations at different stages of their growth, including start-ups and turnarounds. We serve a range of nonprofits including dance, theater, environmental and cultural organizations.

At Syzygy we help arts institutions grow and thrive by strengthening their organization and infrastructure, creating and implementing strategic plans, and consulting on a myriad of vital issues including fundraising, communications, transitions and facilities.

Our founder Mara Manus has been uniquely successful in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, and her experience with high profile, complex organizations allows her to develop uniquely appropriate solutions for leaders, management, board members and donors. Syzygy guides the building of effective teams, both within an institution, and in their communities of audiences, supporters, stakeholders and partners.
