Music Ascension

Since 1999, Music Ascension has provided more than 1500 young people in the Tri-State area with instruction in music, Songwriting, Audio-Engineering, and Music Production and has produced over 60 CDs featuring the music, lyrics, and spoken words of young people.

Music Ascension was founded with the vision to help instill within children an enduring belief in themselves and their own creativity. Its mission is to foster lasting personal and professional growth in young people through musical projects designed to give emerging minds the chance to create.

During the school year, Music Ascension designs and implements the music program at Chancellor Academy (Since 2002), Chapel Hill Academy (Since 2005), and The Fed Cap School (Since 2012); three New Jersey Special-Education schools fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Music Ascension currently runs specialized music programs at the 501 c(3) orgnization Project Morry (since 1999), Camp Echo Lake (since 1994), Camp Laurel (2010), Camp Altitude (2013), and Lake of The Woods/Greenwoods Camp (2014).

Music Ascension has been an invited panelist on the workshop titled “Does Your Camp Rock?” offered at the 2011 American Camping Associations Tri-State Convention.

Music Ascension was the focus of a documentary entitled “Morry’s Song” produced by Left Unsaid Films and has been featured on WFUV’s Cityscapes, WBAI’s Wake Up Call, and ACA’s November/December 2008 issue of Camping Magazine.
