Rise Up & Care identifies local organizations in marginalized communities of the global south with a long record of success using high-level performance to transform youth. Rise Up & care then invests in those organizations by providing expansion grants. Finally, we inspire the world about their motivational work with powerful documentary films about their organizations and stories through by top local filmmakers. Rise Up & Care partners with multiple local NGOs in single global cities. Our first set of 6 partnerships and 6 films is in Rio de Janeiro. We are now accepting nominations for the next global city. Rise Up & Care is a 501c3.
