Samdech Hun Sen School Complex

The Samdech Hun Sen School Complex is a relatively new, private educational establishmen, the fruit of a south-south parntnership between Cambodia and Mali. It was inaugurated in January 2014 and comprises pre-school, primary school, secondary school and high school as per the french education system. Our aim is to equip Malian children and young people with the tools that enable them to be active, responsible, and engaged citizens in an evolving world. The school follows the Malian education curriculum, taught in French, enriched through additional courses in civic education, environment education, English language and computer science. We strive to practice an innovative and wholistic approach to education that encourages self discipline, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and responsibility. The student body, 174 students at present - 50% female) is expected to double next year. It represents a microcosm of Malian society with students from different economic strata and from diverse ethnic backgrounds. As such the school presents, in a country torn by conflict, a unique opportunity for peace building at an early age.

The school wishes to build up a strong English language program and is therfore looking for 2 native speaking EFL teachers for Young Learners to help develop curriculum and coach local teachers through co-teaching.
