Position Description
Opportunity: The Sundborg Center for Community Engagement (CCE) is seeking a finance leader to manage the complex and multi-faceted funding sources, financial systems, and 3-million-dollar budget of the Center. The person in this role will work with various internal and external partners to ensure that goods and services are procured, expenses are tracked, and funds are spent in compliance so that we can make strategic decisions and execute the work. You will have the opportunity to be a part of all the financial components of the Center with an eye on analysis, processes, policies, and collaboration.
Overview: The Senior Manager of Budget and Financial Planning supports the financial planning for and fiscal management of the CCE in several key areas described below. A person who is a good fit for this role will have a mind for financial analysis, consider compliance and risk management, approach collaboration with joy and curiosity, and center community and CCE programs in their processes and communication. They will have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams. They will be able to manage a large volume of simultaneous tasks and see that each is completed in a timely and accurate way. An ideal candidate centers anti-racist and anti-oppressive ways of being and engaging in their work and interactions with others. This person actively engages in self-reflection, is organized, detail oriented, an excellent communicator, is skilled at working both individually with limited supervision and as part of teams, thinks creatively, is solution-minded, and appreciates and contributes to fun and sometimes challenging environments. This position works in close partnership and reports to the Sr. Director for Operations and is a member of a dynamic five-person operations team, also working closely with CCE leadership and staff that supervise students as well as partners in the community and across Seattle University. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule and to participate in the University's Tuition Benefits Program.

Compensation at a Glance
Salary Range: $68,000 - $70,000Seattle University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, and not based on a candidate's gender or any other protected status.Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
