Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Office

This CFO/COO is a newly created position due to extensive grown in this non-profit medical industry. Organizational strength and experience (in non-profit & for-profit) due to the growth are needed: with financial controls that need to be rebuilt; governance policies to be rewritten; technology systems being updated and need full implementation and facility management as expansion in taking place. An essential volunteer program restoration is underway and will be vital in collaboration with this position. This role will be the intersection of financial stewardship, superior operations and mission integrity. Previous experience in the Board Room with engaged members and out with the staff in a busy medical environment.

Key areas of experience: (1) Financial leadership-budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management. Working with independent auditor & oversee audit process. Manage restricted fund accounting, endowments, and investment policy compliance. Manage tenant lease relationships including lease compliance, income tracking and financial reporting.

(2) Operational Leadership-Day to day operations of medical non-profit with small staff and heavy volunteer involvement, oversee HR thru ADP, manage technology systems assessment and implementation. oversee facilities with operation staff. (3) Governance & Compliance.

Must be an independent, confident decision maker and an effective collaborative partner able to work with President and Board.
