Our global client is a growing US based Artificial Intelligence (AI) nonprofit. They have engaged us to recruit a Head of Operations based in NYC (local candidates only, please)
Compensation: $140,000 - $ 180,000 (some flexibility depending on relevant experience) + Bonus
Benefits: Benefits plus performance based bonus
Location: Hybrid, New York City, NY, USA
About the Opportunity: since you live in the NYC, you already know how AI is being leveraged for the greater good by organizations like our client. An established global nonprofit, our client is motivated to put our planet’s resources at the service of the common good. Leveraging NYC as a global financial hub, our client is harnessing artificial intelligence to continue doing the most good for all those it touches, country by country.
About the Position:
You will serve as the single point of accountability for in-country compliance and reporting worldwide. This role ensures adherence to local laws, regulations, and international standards across all program entities. Key responsibilities include driving policy enforcement, managing agreement workflows (MOUs, contracts), and conducting risk-focused audits to guarantee transparency and compliance with all applicable regulatory and financial entities.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of five (preferably ten to fifteen) years’ experience in operations and compliance gained working for a nonprofit (501c(3) strongly preferred) in a multi-national environment (please specify which countries in your response if not clear from your resume)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Proficiency with compliance tracking systems (please specify software packages in your response)
- Project Management experience, including use of workflow tools . (Please specify in your response.)
