Are you a passionate, transformational leader ready to make a lasting impact in the fight against domestic violence while empowering women and families? YWCA Walla Walla, a cornerstone of the community for over 100 years, is seeking a dynamic Executive Director to guide our $4.2M organization and team of 47 dedicated staff members. In 2024 alone, we provided over 5,800 nights of shelter, served thousands of meals to children, and matched more than 225 survivors with advocates. Located in the vibrant wine country of Walla Walla (home to three universities, rich cultural diversity, and abundant outdoor recreation) this role offers the perfect blend of meaningful work and quality of life.
We're looking for a relational, strategic leader who excels at inspiring others and building high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will bring experience in nonprofit leadership, financial management, and fundraising, with a deep commitment to our mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. You'll oversee our signature Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Resource Center (the only domestic violence shelter in the area), two quality childcare centers, and community enrichment programs while developing strategic partnerships and ensuring organizational sustainability. Experience with domestic violence services and/or early learning is highly desirable.
This is an opportunity to lead an organization with a strong community reputation, committed long-term donors, and a collaborative, mission-driven team ready to evolve and expand their impact.
If you're a resilient, transparent leader who thrives on empowering others and creating positive change, we want to hear from you. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis with priority consideration given to those received by October 17, 2025.
