    Customer Support Associate

    This job’s main focus will be providing customer support for the Mightycause nonprofit fundraising and Giving Day platform. Primary emphasis will be placed on our nonprofit, Giving Day, and subscription clients. The candidate must have a genuine desire to provide superior support for our nonprofit customers and assist them in their efforts to build their supporter base and help their cause succeed. You’re a great match if you possess fantastic troubleshooting and communication skills, are driven to help customers with their online fundraising efforts, and have the ability to dive deep into our online fundraising products to learn them inside and out.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Answer incoming emails and calls related to donations, setting up fundraisers and helping organizations use the tools offered through Mightycause.com
    • Utilize databases and web-based support tools to resolve customer inquiries
    • Become an expert on the Mightycause tools and proactively learn new features Mightycause.com launches and encourage users to adopt them
    • Support and train nonprofits in using the Mightycause platform
    • Assist with keeping the Mightycause knowledge base current when new features are released
    • Guide nonprofits and their supporters in building out peer to peer fundraising and event pages
    • Meet goals for ticket response time, ticket solve volume, and overall customer satisfaction
    • Communicate nonprofit feedback to Community and Product teams

    Ideal Qualifications

    • Nonprofit industry knowledge and basic understanding of nonprofit fundraising best practices
    • Experience with support ticketing tools such as Zendesk and project management tools such as Asana
    • Excellent problem solving skills and customer first mindset
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to work independently in a remote work environment

    Location: Remote (Candidate may be asked to travel occasionally to DC location)
