- Project: Development of sexual health content for Myka Chatbot
- Organization: Women First Digital (WFD)
- Project Period: Two months
ABOUT US
Operated by Women First Digital (WFD), Myka is a hybrid AI chatbot that provides accessible, stigma free and reliable information on contraception and safe sex in English, Spanish and French. Myka offers both structured conversation flows (e.g., pregnancy and contraception quizzes) and personalized AI-driven responses to user questions.
WFD now aims to expand Myka’s scope beyond contraception and pregnancy to help users explore their sexuality in a positive, inclusive and educational way. This project will lay the groundwork for that expansion by identifying priority content areas and developing two new sexual health-related topics for integration into Myka.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Stage 1 – Methodology
- After an introductory call with the WFD team, propose a concise plan/methodology for how you will conduct the research, analysis and content development.
Stage 2 – Research and Recommendations
- Analyze the Find My Method website and Myka chatbot (and related materials) to identify current content coverage, tone and approach.
- Conduct a gap analysis to determine opportunities for new sexual health and sexuality-related content (e.g., pleasure, relationships, consent, body image, sexual orientation, etc.).
- Conduct a competitor analysis of 3-5 relevant global sexuality digital tools (e.g., platforms, chatbots, apps), focusing on: content themes, tone and inclusivity, interactive elements, gaps and best practices.
- Prepare a recommendations report outlining potential topics, rationale and user value, taking into account Myka’s global audience.
- Present findings and recommendations to WFD’s team for review and feedback.
Stage 3 – Content Development
- Following the WFD team's topic selection, develop full content for the two approved topics, written in clear, inclusive language and structured in a way that can be easily adapted for chatbot use (e.g., concise sections, conversational tone, modular elements).*
- Participate in one or two calls during this stage to present and refine the proposal, which may include a joint session with the chatbot development agency. This includes a maximum of two rounds of revision based on WFD’s feedback.
Note: The consultant is not responsible for building chatbot flows or technical adaptation.
