Maggie's Hospice and Palliative Care

Home Health Resources, Inc was started in Phoenix , Arizona in 1996 by Theresa Lungwitz. Soon After, she opened Crossing Hospice Care providing Hospice services for terminally ill patients and their families, Theresa reached out to her dear friend Dr. Margaret`s to assist with billing and later became our CFO. Dr. Margaret's dream was to expand services to the Prescott area. Unfortunately, the dream was not realized in her lifetime. Maggies Hospice is a tribute to Dr. Margaret`s legacy. After Dr. Margaret's passing, the company name was changed to THEMA Health services. "THE" for Theresa and "MA" for Dr. Margaret. All of the northern Arizona sites are named "Maggie's after Dr. Margaret.

We offer home health and palliative services to patients in their home. Our Hospice team consists of: Physicians, RNs( case managers), CNAs( personal care), Social workers, Chaplains, and Volunteer and Bereavement services.

Volunteers are an essential part of the team. Medicare mandates that 5% of all clinical hours have to be volunteer hours, and that is where you come in!

We have Maggies offices in Cottonwood, Prescott, Flagstaff and recently Lake Havasu, Arizona.

We are recognized as one of the top hospices in Arizona according to the Medicare website.

We offer our patients volunteers who assist by being a companion, or providing respite to caregivers needing to run errands or go to doctors visits etc. As little as 1-2 hours a week can make a difference to the family`s well-being.
