Halcyon Hospice

You will feel very rewarded in your new role as a Halcyon hospice volunteer. As a hospice volunteer you will help patients and their caregivers in many different areas of their lives. You can provide caregiver relief for 2-4 hours each week to allow the caregiver to enjoy time out of the home. You may also provide companionship to a patient who is in their last Journeys of life. You may also help out as a office administarative volunteer. Some other ways you may volunteer are baking birthday cakes, knitting blankets, running errands, delivering supplies, making weekend tuck in calls, Pet therapy ,if you have a hospice certified animal and Music therapy if you have musical talents. We care for terminal patients in thier home or home like settings. Our office is located in the cumming area. We have patients in several surrounding counties.
