Dark Data Project

The Dark Data Project helps organizations uncover, deobfuscate, semantify and analyze problematic datasets. Our team offers a breadth of expertise in data science, public and private governance, and humanitarian technology.

There are currently three workstreams for organizations to work with the Dark Data Project:

1. Our consulting and advisory services empower organizations with complex data acquisition and analysis requirements, particularly low-fidelity human-driven datasets.
2. Our incubator program invests in innovative startups and local technology NGOs.
3. Our pro bono mandate allows us to commit a percentage of every year's output, for free, to underfunded nonprofit initiatives.
