Tribeca Pediatrics was founded by Dr. Michel Cohen in 1994 in his loft in Tribeca where he lived with his family.The practice was very popular with local parents who loved his low intervention approach, personal touch and high quality of care. His philosophy eventually evolved into the book “The New Basics: A to Z Baby and Child Care for the Modern Parent”.

Over the years Dr Michel Cohen has opened numerous offices in developing neighborhoods in the NY region and in LA. Throughout, Tribeca Pediatrics has kept his strong commitment to a high quality of care in intimate and playful environments where families develop lasting relationships with their providers.
