Kijani Forestry

Kijani Forestry is a sustainable forestry company (registered B-Corp) focused on improving the lives of smallholder farmers through tree planting, agroforestry supply-chain development, and ecosystem restoration. Through our flagship program, the Nursery Hub Model, we have established a network of nurseries in rural communities in Northern Uganda. There we partner with local communities, providing training, tree seedlings, and access to markets for agroforestry products. We plant indigenous, fast-growing fuelwood (charcoal), timber, fruit, and fodder trees to increase climate resilience for tens of thousands of farmers.
