Our non-medical hospice volunteers provide direct care services for terminally ill individuals and their families. Volunteers can provide support to family members while providing companionship during routine tasks such as shopping, writing letters, watering plants, or walking a dog. Our volunteers do not engage in patient hygiene activities, such as helping with bathroom needs or bathing. Volunteers often enjoy reading or just socializing with those that have felt isolated. The benefits that volunteers provide by their willingness to help those they don't know during their time of greatest need and vulnerability is touching and empowering to both patients and families. Cella Bella Hospice values the unique skills and backgrounds volunteers bring to their interactions with families. Whatever your special interests are, we can find a rewarding place for you in our organization.
