Awethu is a social business aiming to revolutionise South Africa's economy through entrepreneurship in under-resourced communities. Some of Awethu's supporters include South Africa's National Treasury's Jobs Fund, Discovery Holdings, as well as a Board of prominent South Africans across private and public sectors. We're also honoured to list Archbishop Desmond Tutu as our patron!
Working with this network of distinguished partners, Awethu's immediate goal is to incubate500 Entrepreneurs in Gauteng, ultimately creating 1000 new jobs this year. If our model proves successful, we'll have a exponential impact on the economy and employment across South Africa... and that's just the start!
