The Mission of Altus Hospice is to provide professional care with a personal touch. We accomplish this by focusing on both the patient and their family. We will treat the disease process with medical expertise while emphasizing quality living, not only physically, but also psychosocially, emotionally and spiritually. Comfort, compassion and calming presence are the gifts we bring to this service, and we are honored to walk with the patient and loved ones through this special time.

Altus has the honor and privilege to partner with patients and families as they enter into end of life care.
Hospice is a concept of caring, rather than a specific location. In hospice care, the emphasis is on palliative (comfort) care and quality of life. Every effort is made to make the patient as comfortable as possible and fulfill the distinct wishes of the patient and their family. There is practical, emotional, and spiritual support available for all involved.
