Weiner Education Foundation is dedicated to providing scholarships and assistance to our residents to help break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Since 1949, Leon N. Weiner & Associates (LNWA), a nationally recognized leader in affordable housing, has participated in the development of over 10,000 units of housing.

LNWA has developed multifamily, single-family, detached and attached homes in urban infill, suburban, and rural communities throughout Delaware, The District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Maine, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Designed for a variety of lifestyles, LNWA homes have ranged from moderately priced townhomes and multifamily high rises to semi-custom single-family homes. All homes built by LNWA are constructed to exacting standards that combine quality, innovation, functionality, and environmental sensitivity.

Honoring the legacy of founder Leon Weiner, LNWA continues its commitment to the development, construction, and management of decent, safe, and affordable housing. Through affiliate companies Rural Housing Preservation Associates and Renewal Housing, this commitment is seen in almost 15,000 affordable homes and apartments in more than ten states.

Outside organizations have recognized these efforts. LNWA has been designated a Top Workplace in Delaware for eleven consecutive years.

Arbor Management LLC

As the management affiliate for Leon N. Weiner & Associates, Inc, Arbor Management, LLC, a full-service property management company with over 30 years of experience, is responsible for the continued success of over 4500 apartment units throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England.

Through the combination of a dedicated, highly professional management staff and the work of its full-time social service coordinators, many with offices at properties managed by Arbor, the company aims to provide a high-quality living environment for its tenants. Arbor enhances its tenants’ lives by providing social service programs at many of its sites, such as on-site job skills training, after-school programs, personal financial planning, computer lab facilities, and summer recreational programs for the children of its residents.

In an effort to bring the highest level of professionalism to their positions, senior managers for Arbor Management, LLC have acquired their Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) designations and are engaged in continuing education and training. Arbor Management, LLC has been listed among the top ten property management firms in the country by the National Center for Housing Management and has received awards from the National Association of Home Builders.

Leon N. Weiner Education Foundation

Following the beliefs and desires of Leon N. Weiner, the Leon N. Weiner Education Foundation provides educational assistance to children and adults in families with low-to-moderate incomes to help them achieve their highest potential and become confident, accomplished, fulfilled individuals and productive members of society.

Since 2004, the Foundation has made a difference in the lives of hundreds of residents living in properties owned in full or part by Leon N. Weiner and Associates. Our programs include financial support for school scholarships, tutoring, and enrichment programs.

The Leon N. Weiner Education Foundation (LNWEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2004 as a lasting tribute to its namesake and his life-long passion and thirst for knowledge.
