Songa Mobility is a social venture and rural African technology firm implementing e-mobility solutions for rural Africa. Songa Mobility grew out of the pilot project of Kisii Smart Community in Kenya, implemented by the Toyota Mobility Foundation and EXA Innovation Studios. That project entailed designing a scheme to de-risk the deployment of the solar powered 3-wheel cargo e-tTrikes and solar charging/battery swapping stations (the e-mobility platform) by embedding it within the logistics of established Agri-value chains.
