Beacon hospice is dedicated to providing care and comfort to a terminally ill patient and their family. We provide the highest quality of care possible by employing a team of healthcare professionals to administer comfort and support.
Beacon Hospice strives to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of patients and family members who share the emotional trauma of a terminal illness. Beacon Hospice is committed to educate the community and increase awareness of the hospice concept of care among medical professionals, lay persons, clergy, and those in need of a compassionate approach to care.
Beacon Hospice admits patients without regard to race, religion, national origin, ancestry, marital status, disability, or sexual preference. The admission criteria does not deny admission or services to people with communicable diseases including but not limited to HIV, MRSA, and Hepatitis B.
Beacon Hospice will provide services to the terminally ill in their home, wherever home may be. There are times when caring for a loved one at home is simply not possible. Beacon Hospice staff also provide care at many nursing facilities in Southeastern Michigan.
