The Rise Up Fund serves Asset Limited Income Constrained and Employed (ALICE) families by offering the Houwzer, Inc. resources as a path to affordable homeownership. Key program components include purchasing off market properties, rehabilitating existing structures, and selling to ALICE families with an affordable mortgage, down payment and closing cost assistance. The Rise Up Fund works closely with Houwzer, Inc. to provide social services for the families, including financial counseling, and post keys support then ensures a continuum of services. The mission of the Rise Up Fund is to accelerate generational upward mobility of the underserved through homeownership.
