    Descrição

Build a School, Build a Future

    Dear Compassionate Friends,

Warm greetings from Global Compassion Foundation.

I am writing to you with a humble heart and a strong commitment to serve underprivileged and marginalized Chakma children in Tuichawng village and surrounding remote areas of Lunglei District, Mizoram, India.

For many children in our community, education is still a distant dream. Poverty, long travel distances, lack of hostel facilities, and unsafe conditions force many students to discontinue their studies at an early age. Girls are especially affected. Many bright young minds lose their opportunity simply because basic infrastructure does not exist.

Behind every struggling child is untapped potential.

Behind every poor family is a hope for a better future.

    Our Vision:-

Our vision is to establish a value-based, inclusive school beginning from Nursery to Class 10, with future expansion to higher secondary levels.

We aim to provide not only academic excellence but also to nurture:

    — Moral values

    — Discipline

    — Mindfulness

    — Compassion

    — Social responsibility.

We believe education should shape character as well as knowledge, helping children grow into responsible and peaceful human beings.

    Our Immediate Needs

To support approximately 250 students, we urgently seek assistance for:

    1. Construction of a school building with classrooms and office space.
    2. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls from distant villages.
    3. A dining hall to provide simple and nutritious meals.
    4. A prayer and meditation hall for moral education and community harmony.
    5. Proper sanitation and safe drinking water facilities.

These are essential foundations for creating a safe, dignified, and peaceful learning environment.

    Our Commitment:-

This initiative is led by dedicated local teachers, social workers, and community volunteers who have long witnessed the hardships faced by these children. We are deeply committed to transparency, accountability, and the responsible use of every contribution. Proper records and regular updates will be maintained and shared with supporters.

    A Warm Invitation:

We warmly welcome you to visit our village in Tuichawng and see with your own eyes how we live and how our Chakma Buddhist community preserves and practices Buddhism in daily life.

You are most welcome to observe:

    — The simple lifestyle of our families

    — Our children’s educational challenges

    — Our community’s spiritual life rooted in Buddhist values

    — The exact land and location where we are planning to establish the school.

We believe that when you personally witness the realities — the hopes, the struggles, and the peaceful strength of our people — you will clearly understand why this school is not just a building project, but a lifeline for our future generation.

Your visit would be an honor for us and a blessing for our community.

    Our Humble Appeal:-

We respectfully invite you to partner with us — through financial support, technical guidance, or by connecting us with well-wishers who believe in education as a tool for transformation.

Your support will not only help build classrooms and hostels — it will help build confidence, dignity, and opportunity for children who otherwise have very limited access to quality education.

In a world facing division and uncertainty, education remains the strongest foundation for lasting peace.

One act of compassion can change a child’s life.

And when a child’s life changes, an entire community begins to rise.

If this mission resonates with your heart, we warmly invite you to stand with us.

    With deep respect and gratitude,

    Sudip Chakma
