Miles for NICU: A Walk & Run for Hope will bring our community together for a walk/run in Central Park Reservoir on Saturday, September 26th, from 3- 4 PM, to raise awareness and show support for babies receiving care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and their families.
We are asking for a minimum $10 registration donation per participant, and we warmly encourage those who can contribute more. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the NICU at Bellevue Hospital.
Bellevue Hospital is the nation’s oldest public hospital and has long served families from across New York City, regardless of their ability to pay. Its NICU provides specialized care for premature and medically fragile newborns while supporting their families through what can be an overwhelming time.
Your contribution can help us provide practical and comforting items for NICU babies and families. For example:
- $10 can help provide a children’s book or small comfort item for a NICU family.
- $25 can help provide a baby blanket or newborn essentials.
- $50 can help provide several family-support items or educational resources.
- $100+ can help us support larger NICU projects and provide resources to multiple families.
