Join us in Mwanza City, Tanzania, for an inspiring sports tournament that brings together young people, families, schools, community leaders, and organizations to stand against violence and abuse affecting boys.
This tournament is organized by Nihurumie Child Group in collaboration with STARA GROUP as part of our commitment to promote child protection, positive masculinity, and equal opportunities for every child.
Why This Tournament?
Sports have the power to unite communities, inspire young people, and create lasting social change. Through football and other sporting activities, we aim to:
- Raise awareness about violence against boys and the importance of protecting every child.
- Encourage positive parenting and community responsibility.
- Promote education, teamwork, discipline, and leadership among young people.

- Strengthen partnerships between schools, parents, local authorities, and child protection stakeholders.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Play for Protection – Sports Against Violence Tournament in Mwanza City, Tanzania.
Please read the following information carefully before registering:
- Participation Fee: The registration fee is USD 250 per participant. Your registration will be confirmed after payment has been received.
- International Participants: Participants traveling from outside Tanzania are encouraged to contact the organizing committee after registering. They will receive additional information regarding visa support (where applicable), accommodation options, airport transfers, local transportation, and other travel arrangements.
- What to Bring: Participants should bring appropriate sportswear, comfortable clothing, personal identification, and any personal items they may need during the event.
- Venue Information: The exact venue, reporting time, and tournament schedule will be shared with all registered participants before the event.
- Wildlife Safari Experience: Eligible participants will have the opportunity to visit one of Tanzania's famous wildlife parks. Details, eligibility criteria, and the itinerary will be communicated by the organizing committee before the event.
- How to Register: Complete your event registration and follow the payment instructions provided by the organizing committee. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive all necessary event updates by email.
