In the event of a disaster that occurs during your hours of operation, your own life and the lives of your employees may be on the line. And, you as an employer, you are the first critical link in the chain of survival. You need to assess the risks you are most likely to face and then develop an Emergency Response plan you can follow should they occur. Remember, something as simple as regularly held fire drills can save countless lives.
Because time is critical, you need to be able to recognize all life-threatening conditions and then provide appropriate emergency medical care.
Under the supervision of the instructor, you will learn the Cycle of Care and the Chain of Survival as well as the 9 skills that are essential in providing medical care.
