Budgeting Seminar by Benvenuti Arts

Benvenuti Arts (BA) works with arts-based nonprofits – from performing collectives to community art centers and educational institutions – to strengthen operations, grow fundraising capacity, and plan sustainably.

BA Sessions & Seminars are small-group, working-style, online programs designed to be practical, accessible, and immediately useful for small and medium-sized teams. These aren’t lectures. Each Session or Seminar combines guided group work with direct support from BA consultants, so you leave with ready-to-use materials and a framework tailored to your organization's needs.

Budgeting Seminar is a 3-hour practical course within which you will create a practical annual budget and learn how to use it in planning and organizational management. We know many smaller groups struggle with budgeting: our CEO, Sarah Benvenuti, will make this process easier with our simple templates and clear advice on what a budget is and is not for your organization.

This is for you if...:

• You're running an arts-based organization with a budget of under $750K OR you're an independent artist who doesn't have the time to review the budget on your own or the resources to pay an outside consultant for that.
• You feel overwhelmed every time you need to adjust your current budget for a new grant application, residency, or operations purposes, and would love professional and community support to figure it out.

This seminar is the closest equivalent to working one-on-one with a consultant, and is valued at $4,500. Our goal is to make this service accessible to as many small and mighty organizations as possible – which is why we run it as a group seminar, combining the consultant's support with peer-group learning.
