Values Into Action

The Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth have been, for decades, on the forefront of social change. In programs both in the US (including NJ, New Mexico, Maryland) and abroad (El Salvador and Haiti), the sisters have a deep-seeded and rich tradition of going where they are needed most. Name a social issue (Immigration, Migrant workers, domestic violence, war trauma, un/underinsured, hunger, homelessness, literacy...and more!), and we probably have a Sister working on it, right there on the front-lines. And she has probably been doing it, with very little fanfare, for many many years. 

Values Into Action, our internship program, places Fall and Spring interns at our administrative offices in Convent Station, NJ and Summer interns at our nonprofit partners throughout the state of NJ. We tailor internships to meet your needs and areas of interests. We provide you with real work experience and mentors.
