Historic Wagner Farm

Historic Wagner Farm is the last working dairy farm in Cook County. It is open to the public and free to visit. The farm creates educational and memorable experiences through everyday visits and special programs that ignite the imagination, inspire visitors, and preserve our local agricultural history.

In addition to the cows in the pasture, Wagner Farm has chickens, draft horses, pigs and sheep as well a restored farmhouse, barn and the award-winning Wagner Farm Heritage Center Museum. The Heritage Center contains fun, hands-on exhibits where visitors can learn about farming from the early 20th century through the present.  The museum gift shop is open all year round and the ice cream parlor is open weekends in the spring and every day in the summer.

Historic Wagner Farm offers public visitation hours, educational programs for all ages, and special events throughout the year as well as seasonal sales of farm products such as pumpkins and Christmas trees.
