The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee School of Nursing (UWM SON) conducts research to promote public health. Our VapeFreeTXT program supports young adults in rural areas to quit e-cigarette use through peer mentorship. We provide volunteers with meaningful experience in mentoring, research, and health promotion while helping participants achieve a vape-free lifestyle.
