Missão
Mission Statement:
The Texas Ombudsman Program advocates for quality of life and quality of care for residents in long term care facilities. Residents and their families are served by developing and using the talents and efforts of specially trained volunteers, professionals, advocacy and membership organizations and regulatory agencies who are interested in long term care and elder rights issues.
Sobre Nós
The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program advocates for quality of life and quality of care for residents living in nursing home and assisted living facilities. Volunteer Ombudsmen are specially trained and certified. Ombudsmen visit 1 to 2 hours weekly in an assigned facility, observe conditions and hear resident and family concerns.
Volunteer Ombudsmen are needed in Jefferson, Hardin and Orange counties.
