In November 2013 Rosie was elected to her third term to serve as a member of the New York City Council in the Second Council District serving the neighborhoods of the Lower East Side, the East Village, Gramercy, and Murray Hill. Rosie serves as Chair of the LGBT Caucus and is a member of the Landmarks Sub-Committee and Aging, Health, Housing and Land Use Committees. She is also a member of the Black and Latino Asian Caucus.
