The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County

The Forest Preserve District’s volunteer program offers something for any interest for individuals and groups alike. Our volunteer program engages volunteers who are willing to donate their time, talents and resources to support staff in carrying out our organizational mission, purpose and guiding principles.

Long-term volunteer opportunities are available in 12 programs and require a one-year commitment. These programs offer weekly, monthly, seasonal, one-day or special-project commitments. If interested, visit dupageforest.org/get-involved/volunteer to learn more.

Short-term opportunities include restoration or group-oriented workdays in our forest preserves are available. Contact Volunteer Services at 630-933-7233 or volunteer@dupageforest.org for more information. Forest Preserve District volunteers must sign a waiver and meet minimum age requirements.
