The Free Speech Center at MTSU

The FREE SPEECH CENTER is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational center devoted to educational efforts directed toward young people and nonpartisan initiatives to build public awareness, broadly changing perceptions about the First Amendment. With a unique strategy to leverage strong relationships with media and universities to expand the message to millions of Americans, the Free Speech Center is unique among university public policy centers. Launched in 2019 at Middle Tennessee State University by Director Ken Paulson, a first amendment expert, lawyer and journalist.
