Missão
TSA's National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program exists to deter and detect the introduction of explosive devices into the transportation system to ensure the freedom of movement for people and commerce. We accomplish this mission through the dedicated work of the handlers and their canine partners.
Sobre Nós
The National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program was established in 1972 and has grown since the creation of the Transportation Security Administration on November 19, 2001. The canine teams have proven to be a dynamic and effective resource. Today, more than 1,000 canine teams are stationed around the country within our airports, mass transit, and maritime systems carrying on the program's mission of keeping our transportation system safe.
