UCLA Law School

The UCLA School of Law is a nationally recognized three-year graduate school with a student population of approximately 1100. There are now approximately 125 full and part-time faculty, 200 career and part time staff members located in both the Law School and Law Library. The school maintains independent control over multiple functions including curriculum, admissions, records, alumni and development, career planning, financial aid administration, and the law library. The school has a highly productive faculty and an active co-curricular program, including a large moot court program and eleven law journals published entirely by students. The school functions on the semester system rather than the quarter system currently used by most of the rest of the campus. The law school enjoys a superior national reputation and is known not only for having a strong traditional curriculum and a wide array of clinical and interdisciplinary offerings, but for a willingness to innovate and experiment.
