John P. Sousa Middle School

School Description The administration and staff of Sousa Middle School is committed to making Sousa the best middle school in the District. Through high expectations for staff and students, solid instruction, a concentration on the development of the whole child, and relationship building with families and the community, Sousa is focused on closing the achievement gap for its students. After achieving double-digit gains in test scores in both reading and math from 2008 to 2009, the staff and students of Sousa are pushing to reach higher levels of excellence this year.
