The School of Mathematics, Science and Technology through Arts (MSTA) is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) middle school located on the Whitney Young Jr Campus between the Crotona Park and West Farms sections of the Bronx. We are surrounded by world renowned institutions which includes the New York Botanical Garden, Bronx Zoo and Fordham University.

At MSTA, we work together with a deep dedication to our students, families and greater community. We believe in the importance of preparing all students to navigate a future dominated by constant innovations in science in science and technology. We believe that all students, starting in middle school, should be educated to innovate. The foundation of such an education is grounded in strong literacy and mathematics skills and their real-world application. Students learn best when they undertake challenging and meaningful work that expands their thinking. We are elated to showcase our work at MSTA and looking for new TEAM members to join our partnership in education to ensure our students’ success.
