PS/MS 279

PS/MS 279 is a neighborhood K-8 school that works with families and the community to provide the structures to close the achievement gap; this includes strong academics and strong social emotional supports to prepare students for success in high school, college and their future careers.

Since teachers have the greatest impact on student achievement, PS/MS 279 offers weekly professional development opportunities. We have a collaborative staff who are enthusiastic about helping students become active members of society.
