The Baltimore City Weatherization Assistance Program provides energy conservation retrofits for low-income households in Baltimore. The program assists low-income households in makingtheir homes more energy-efficient, comfortable and safer and reduces their utility costs.
In addition to helping families' with their energy needs, the Weatherization Assistance Program is a part of Baltimore Housing's Division of Green, Healthy and Sustainable Homes, which coordinates additional housing and health services to provide more comprehensive benefits to disadvantaged families in Baltimore. Through a network of non-profit partners, the program coordinates resources to maximize benefits to meet the multifaceted needs of clients' served.
