Centre for Research & Education for Social Transformation (CREST)

Centre for Research & Education for Social Transformation (CREST) is an autonomous institution under Government of Kerala .It was incubated by the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode with the objective to enable professional and other graduates from Scheduled communities to compete in the open market for admission in professional as well as higher learning institutions of national reputation and to compete in the open market for specialized categories of job opportunities. The Centre has been conceived in the backdrop of the new global scenario into which India is integrating and its multifaceted features and the debates on affirmative action that is taking place in the country and the demands made on the private sector to respond to the government’s suggestions with regard to reservation in the private sector
